Program aims

This program is designed to:

• Explore the basics of appropriate adult education for expectant parents

  Endorsed by the Australian College of Midwives

• Enable the educator to develop professional, evidence based practises
• Experience a variety of interactive activities to get a "feel" for how to facilitate them in their programs
• Discuss the "how-to" of managing groups
• Examine various teaching aids
• Develop skills in program planning and evaluation.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

• Describe basic group management techniques that enhance learning for participants.
• Prepare an outline for a pregnancy program for a specific client group

Registration fees:
$750.00 (including GST)

Workshop numbers are limited to a maximum of 20 per group and registrations are recorded in order of receipt - payment must accompany registration. If your hospital requires a pro-forma invoice to enable a purchase order to be prepared for pre-payment, please contact Birth International for assistance. [link to accounts@birthinternational.com]

Your registration will confirmed in writing with further details of the venue and your receipt (tax invoice). If appropriate, information regarding accommodation will also be included so that you may make your own accommodation reservation.

Cancellation:

Birth International reserves the right to cancel the program is insufficient numbers are registered one month before the workshop date. In this event, a full refund will be offered.

No refunds will be offered for participants who withdraw within one month of the workshop date, although a substitute may be registered, providing Birth International is notified.
