This wonderfully candid film captures the emotions and physical effort of giving birth in a wonderfully uplifting way. It shows the home water birth of Dusty, who arrives into the world with the help of a midwife, doula, her father and big sister. The labour is hard, with the baby in a posterior position, and the supportive role of the midwife and family are clearly shown. The intense pain is described in the voice over as Dusty's mother works to manage the contractions, her other child and strong internal instincts.
